and Warranties
Returns
Any product ordered in error must be returned freight prepaid
in restockable condition within 30 days of receipt of merchandise.
All merchandise can be subject to a 15% restocking charge
and must have a return authorization. Any merchandise not
returned in the allotted time will be billed as normal.
Defective
Merchandise
Any product determined to be defective will be replaced at
our expense. This includes any freight charges that might
be incurred. Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-689-9096
for a return authorization number. Defective merchandise must
be returned within 30 days of shipment.
Special
Orders
All orders for non-standard products not listed in this catalog
must be made in writing and may not be canceled.
General
Terms
2%-10 days, Net 30 days. 2% discount if paid ten days from
invoice date; net amount due thirty days from invoice date.
Products are subject to change, addition, or discontinuation
without notice. All prices are subject to change, are FOB
our warehouse locations, and do not include taxes where applicable.
Service charge of 1.5% will be assessed on past due invoices.
Product
Warranty
Our products are carefully selected and tested to ensure their
reliability and performance. Media Direct warrants that its
products are free from defects in material and workmanship
and will offer full replacement or credit for products which
we supply that are defective and are returned by the customer.
Media Direct also warrants that its products will not cause
excessive or abnormal wear to the print head or print drum
used. Specifically this applies to the use of your direct
thermal printhead, the use of electrostatic media and toners
and wear to your electrostatic plotter printhead, the use
of our engineering copier media and wear to your engineering
copier print heads, and use of our magnetic media and damage
caused to your read/write heads. However, under the following
conditions, Media Direct will bear the cost of service and
repair of machines which were damaged, excluding normal wear
and tear, by use of our products.
1. Signed
documentation from an Authorized Service Representative stating
abnormal wear can be established as a direct result of excessive
and continuous use of Media Direct products.
2. Reasonable
precaution has been taken in the handling, storage and use
of products.
3. Report
of the damage is reasonable and prompt.
